
Ingredients
- 1 goat (around 3 kg)
- 1.5 kg of potatoes
- 1.5 kg of onions
- 1.5 dl of olive oil
- 1.5 dl of red wine
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 1 sprig of mint
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
- Cut the goat into pieces and season with salt, pepper, bay leaf, rosemary, and mint.
- Peel and slice the onions.
- In a clay pot, place a layer of onions, a layer of meat, and repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Drizzle with olive oil and red wine.
- Cover and let marinate for at least 12 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Peel and slice the potatoes and add them to the pot.
- Cover and cook in the oven for about 2 hours.
- Serve hot with a good red wine.
