- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 tablespoon sake
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Steps
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, and brown sugar to create the teriyaki marinade.
- Thread salmon cubes onto skewers and place them in a shallow dish.
- Pour half of the teriyaki marinade over the salmon skewers, reserving the rest for basting.
- Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill or grill pan. Grill the salmon skewers, basting with the reserved marinade, until fully cooked.
- Serve the Teriyaki Salmon Skewers with steamed rice or as part of a Japanese-style barbecue.
