Shoyu Ramen

Ingredients

  • 4 packs ramen noodles
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • Sliced green onions and boiled eggs for garnish
  • Nori sheets, torn into small pieces

Steps

  1. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a pot, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken broth, soy sauce, and mirin. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Divide cooked ramen noodles into bowls and ladle the hot broth over them.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions, boiled eggs, and torn nori sheets.
